Freshly-ground pepper has that extra oomph that old ground pepper just can't quite muster. That's why a good pepper mill is essential in any serious kitchen. Our pepper mill gave up the ghost a few months ago, so now we're using a mortar and pestle, but I'd sure love to replace that with this Lighthouse Pepper Mill.
